African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI)

OAPI, the African Intellectual Property Organization is an intellectual property organization headquartered in Yaoundé, Cameroon. As of March 2017, OAPI member states are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Comoro Islands, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO)

ARIPO was mainly established to pool the resources of its member countries in industrial property matters together in order to avoid duplication of financial and human resources. As of March 2017, ARIPO member states are: Botswana, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Eurasia Patent Convention (EA)

The Eurasian Patent Office receives applications and grants Eurasian patents valid in the territory of Member-States of the Eurasian Patent Convention. As of March 2017, the list includes Turkmenistan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Tajikistan, Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Armenia.

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf originally (and still colloquially) known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), is a regional intergovernmental political and economic union consisting of all Arab states of the Persian Gulf, except for Iraq. As of March 2017, its member states are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
